More than 1,500 college stores took part in the Oct. 4
celebration of National Student Day, which was created to honor students and
celebrate the many ways they give back to their campus and community.
The AACC Bookstore, Anne Arundel Community College in
Arnold, MD, used the day to recognize student involvement and volunteerism, but
also to find out what students want and need from their campus store with a fun
event that included free sushi, music, raffles, and giveaways.
