Video of book digitization process at Cambridge University Press

Cambridge University Press has produced a very interesting video about their book digitization process. To date, the university press has been able to make 15,000 titles that were previously out-of-print available to scholars, students, and the public via print-on-demand. The university has also formed an alliance with the library to scan and digitize books from the library’s vast collection. Rare and out-of-print books that too fragile and valuable to be borrowed by readers will now be available via print-on-demand or in e-book format.
