According to
Crunch Gear, Amazon has a patent that may be broad enough to justify a lawsuit over other e-readers. The patent for a dual screen LCD/E-Ink device was filed in 2006 and recently granted. It could cover devices such as the Barnes & Noble Nook and the Spring Design Alex. We will have to wait and see if anything comes of this.
