A recent
survey conducted by market research company NPD Group found that 93 percent of e-reader owners are either “very satisfied” or “somewhat satisfied” with their device. When asked to name their favorite feature, 60 percent of respondents said wireless access. In terms of recommended improvements, 42 percent said they would like to see more book title availability, 39 percent said longer battery life, and 34 percent said color screens. The survey also showed that 30 percent of respondents use more than one device to read e-books such as a smartphone or PC.
